Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts with every other weekend requirement and 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections to ensure safe surgical outcomes
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol while monitoring maternal and fetal well-being
Interpret EFM strips and respond promptly to obstetrical emergencies
Collaborate with OB techs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

Active RN license (90-day emergency license available upon offer)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for cesarean sections
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal monitoring strips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Proficient with GE Centricity EFM system and telemetry monitoring
Skilled in managing obstetrical emergencies and hypertensive disorders
Ability to work collaboratively in a closed unit with 24/7 OB tech support
