Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, day or night; block scheduling available; every other weekend (days: Sat-Sun, nights: Fri-Sat); holidays rotate with permanent staff.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers and newborns in a combined LDRP unit
Attend vaginal deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns immediately after birth
Titrate and manage IV drips including magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin
Care for mother-baby couplets in postpartum, including routine assessments and patient education
Collaborate with OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers available 24/7

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred
Comfortable attending deliveries and circulating C-sections independently
Open to feedback and adaptable to unit workflows and policies

Neonatal resuscitation
Fetal heart monitoring (intermediate/advanced)
Titrating IV drips (magnesium, Pitocin, insulin)
