Location: Roseburg, OR

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day or night shifts (AM/PM), every other weekend, with 2-12 hour call shifts every 4 weeks; holiday rotation per ONA contract

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby patients
Circulate and/or scrub in the OR for cesarean sections and other obstetric surgeries
Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret EFM strips, and respond to emergencies
Titrate intravenous drips including Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol as ordered
Collaborate with OB techs, neonatologists, and charge nurses to ensure optimal outcomes
Educate and support new families during the birthing process and postpartum period

Qualifications

Current RN license in Oregon or ability to obtain a 90-day emergency license upon offer
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in cesarean sections preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetric emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in fetal monitoring (EFM) and interpretation of tracings
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
Skill in titrating high-alert medications like Pitocin and Labetalol
Ability to work in a fast-paced LDRP unit with obstetric emergencies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
