Location: Dickson, Tennessee

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week including weekends and holidays

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 - $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert labor and delivery care including active labor management and inductions
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to obstetric emergencies
Assist with C-sections, vacuum, and forceps-assisted deliveries
Perform newborn assessments and ensure smooth transition to couplet care
Manage postpartum recovery and provide compassionate couplet nursing
Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, patient-centered experiences

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Fetal monitoring training and experience
Previous labor and delivery experience including laboring, recovering mothers, and newborn care
Ability to handle shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Proficiency with inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil
Experience with vacuum and forceps-assisted deliveries
Knowledge of shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage management
Familiarity with Meditech and CPN documentation systems
Comfort working in a Level II NICU environment
