Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 36 hours/week with one weekday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including chemoembolization, Y-90, GJ tube placements, IVC filters, and vascular access
Monitor critical care and telemetry patients, manage ventilators, and respond to changes in patient status
Assist with CT-guided biopsies, ablations, ultrasound-guided procedures, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
Maintain sterile field during procedures and perform Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes
Collaborate with IR techs, CT, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound techs to ensure seamless patient care
Serve as charge nurse when needed and support the team in a fast-paced Level I Trauma center

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Must have Neuro IR experience and Level I Trauma experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Comfortable with Cerner EMR and sterile technique
Must have own vehicle and clean driving record
Professional appearance: natural hair color, no facial piercings, clean shaven for fit test
