Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-op and PACU care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
Monitor and recover patients following interventional radiology procedures
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians during body IR cases including chemo embolizations, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the entire procedural journey
Document care accurately using Cerner EMR while maintaining sterile field protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certification required
Neuro IR experience is a must-have for this role
Level I trauma experience strongly preferred
Pre-op/PACU or ICU background welcomed
PALS certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance and infection control
Comfort with conscious sedation recovery and post-anesthesia monitoring
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs lab skills assessment
Experience with Cerner EMR documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
