Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a combined ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg unit
Titrate drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
Monitor telemetry and interpret 12-lead EKGs
Manage patient assignments with ratios varying by acuity (ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6)
Float to other units as needed including pediatric and west campus ICU/PCU
Collaborate with charge nurse and respiratory therapists for comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med-Surg in large facility
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% within two attempts prior to start
Comfortable with drip titration and telemetry monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in drip titration, telemetry, and EKG interpretation
Ability to adapt to changing patient acuities in a combined unit
Effective communication and teamwork
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP is a plus
