Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing to trauma, burn, and surgical ICU patients
Monitor and manage complex patient conditions using advanced ICU technology
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Respond swiftly during codes and perform life-saving interventions including wound care and EVD management
Float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU units as needed to support patient care across the hospital

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
Strong trauma, burn, and surgical ICU experience preferred
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
BSN and CCRN certification are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care equipment and Burn/Trauma ICU technology
Meditech electronic medical records system
Wound care, codes, EVDs, and massive transfusion protocols
Team collaboration and willingness to support colleagues
