Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old
Titrate life-saving medications including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Monitor and interpret telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring systems
Collaborate with physicians, residents, and fellows to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to various inpatient units while maintaining excellence in every assignment
Respond to rapid response teams and codes with confidence and skill

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of recent ICU experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Ability to pass skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Willingness to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with neuro surgery patients and stroke care
Familiarity with CRRT, Impella, balloon pumps, and ICP monitoring
Comfort managing vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Strong critical thinking and positive attitude
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
