Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM / 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse ICU patient population
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as ordered
Interpret telemetry strips and manage GE monitors
Manage ventilator settings and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Must have at least 1 year of recent ICU experience
Willingness to float to other units as assigned
Ability to pass an open-book nursing exam during orientation (90% required)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating drips and managing ventilators
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and documentation
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
