Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips while managing complex medication drips
Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips to maintain patient stability
Manage ventilator settings from nasal cannula to full mechanical ventilation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to treat trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis patients
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed while maintaining safe patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Cardiac, insulin, and sedation drip titration
Ventilator management from basic oxygen to full support
Critical thinking in high-acuity adult patient populations
Floating flexibility between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg
