Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down, and Medical-Surgical units
Apply the nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments following approved protocols and state regulations
Document patient care thoroughly and accurately according to established standards
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in partnership with physicians and families
Support performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
Share clinical expertise across departments to enhance the patient’s longitudinal care journey
Use critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license required
Current CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with strong cardiac background
Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed
Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong command of the nursing process and evidence-based patient care
Skilled in medication administration and precise documentation
Critical thinking and sound clinical judgment under pressure
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Comfortable floating between ICU, telemetry, and med-surg environments
