Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), schedule determined by leadership, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality critical care to patients in a dynamic float pool across multiple ICU units
Titrate and manage critical drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Interpret telemetry strips and manage ventilator settings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float seamlessly between ICUs within Zone 1, adapting to diverse patient populations
Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Prior travel experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Proficient in telemetry interpretation and ventilator management
Comfortable titrating all critical drips
Strong communication and adaptability to float between units
Ability to handle high-acuity patients on CRRT, IABP, and Impella
