Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with precision
Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support while collaborating with respiratory therapy
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms independently while delivering compassionate patient care
Float throughout the zone to support various facilities and patient populations as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
Comfortable with drip titration and ventilator management

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties
Drip titration and ventilator management expertise
Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
Floating flexibility across various acuity levels
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
