Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule made 6 weeks in advance with flexibility required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate critical care across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate life-saving medications such as pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics with precision and confidence
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while providing hands-on ventilator and respiratory support
Float within a dynamic 60-mile zone, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and respiratory therapists to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
Epic experience strongly preferred
Comfortable floating across ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems
Skilled in managing CRRT, IABP, and Impella patients
Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities for fluctuating acuity levels
Flexible and adaptable when schedules or assignments change
Excellent communication and teamwork across multiple hospital sites
