Location: Centennial, CO

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional critical care to ICU patients including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
Manage ventilators and respiratory needs, including troubleshooting
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor patients without monitor techs
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3, adapting to different ICUs
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3+ years for first-time travelers
Prior travel experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone
Comfortable with Just-In-Time scheduling and flexible shift assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in critical drip titration (pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin)
Ventilator management including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Telemetry interpretation and independent strip reading
Experience with Epic EHR preferred
