Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU cases
• Monitor and interpret telemetry while confidently titrating critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists to manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen needs
• Deliver compassionate one-on-one or one-to-two patient care based on acuity, including advanced therapies like CRRT, IABP, and Impella
• Float within the zone when needed to support ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units
• Serve as a reliable team member during weekends and occasional holidays to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; 3+ years plus Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
• Comfortable reading and interpreting telemetry strips independently
• Prior travel experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and decision-making skills
• Proficient with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to manage multiple drips and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
