Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed NVICU
Monitor and manage patients requiring central lines, arterial lines, and intubation
Collaborate with a dedicated team of 46 staff members to deliver exceptional outcomes
Float to various ICUs, BMT, and PCU floors as needed to support patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
Uphold a team-player mindset while being accountable and caring

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
Current ACLS certification required
Meditech experience preferred
Oncology or Neuro experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and intervention skills
Proficiency with standard ICU equipment
Ability to care for patients with central lines, arterial lines, and EVDs
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float between multiple units
