End Date: 04-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every third weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring their safety and comfort
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and report changes in condition
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills for complex patient cases
Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of ICU protocols and evidence-based practice
