Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, variable 8- or 10-hour shifts, with on-call requirements (1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy
Manage specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents for bile and pancreatic duct treatments
Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound processor for Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) biopsies
Set up advanced electrocautery, injection needles, and snares for complex polyp removal
Handle balloon catheters and specialized equipment for small bowel visualization
Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup for structural GI conditions
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes per SGNA and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures
Ability to pass an open-book exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Willingness to adhere to fingernail policy (no artificial nails in patient care areas)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery
Proficiency in high-level disinfection and reprocessing of endoscopic equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and teamwork skills
