Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts to be discussed during interview; plus weeknight call 1-2 nights per week and weekend call every 3 weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate and tech for advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery
Operate and troubleshoot specialized imaging and therapeutic equipment
Assist with Fine Needle Aspiration biopsies and complex polyp removal
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of scopes per SGNA and manufacturer standards
Collaborate with the GI team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Participate in call rotation for weeknights and weekends

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum 1-2 years of recent Endoscopy/GI Lab experience
Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP, etc.)
Ability to pass an open-book exam during orientation with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery techniques
Proficiency in high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing
Knowledge of SGNA standards and manufacturer guidelines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage on-call responsibilities and adapt to changing schedules
