Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care during GI procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and biopsies
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia is unavailable, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists
Document accurately using Cerner-Surginet EMR
Float to PACU/ACU as needed to support the broader care team
Respond to emergency cases and weekend call requirements with professionalism

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
Moderate Sedation experience preferred
Cerner-Surginet charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Endoscopy and GI procedures expertise
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle 3-5 cases per day plus emergencies
Comfortable floating between departments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
