Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, varied start times, no block scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Cover all three phases of endoscopy care including pre-op, intra-op, and recovery
Administer and monitor MAC and procedural sedation for patients
Circulate during MAC cases and serve as sedator for procedural sedation cases
Respond to bedside procedures in the ER and ICU when needed
Collaborate with physicians and techs to deliver safe, high-quality care
Participate in call rotation including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy or procedural experience
Experience with procedural sedation required
Call experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchs, EUS, and PEG placements
Comfort managing intubated patients and recovering MAC sedation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment seeing 5-25 procedures daily
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
