Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule set by leadership

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Assess, triage, and manage patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and interdisciplinary team members
Administer medications, start IVs, and manage common drips seen in trauma ERs
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to critical changes
Float to OBS unit and freestanding ER as needed

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1-2 years of recent Level I or Level II trauma ER experience required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
NRP certification preferred
Valid driver's license for verification of 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Strong trauma assessment and intervention skills
Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and 12-lead EKGs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
