Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on acuity
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and healthcare team for optimal outcomes
Monitor and document patient responses, vital signs, and changes in condition
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Pass an open-book exam on skills learned during orientation (90% required)
No artificial nails permitted in patient care areas
Strong critical thinking and communication skills in fast-paced environments

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing, trauma care, and life support
Skilled in patient assessment, triage, and rapid decision-making
Proficiency with IV starts, phlebotomy, and wound care
Knowledge of emergency protocols, equipment, and medications
Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and stress management
