Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and initiate appropriate interventions
Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and document care accurately and promptly
Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
Act decisively during emergencies and contribute to a safe, efficient ED environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure
Experience in Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency triage and acute care management
Familiarity with ED workflows and rapid patient turnover
Skilled in IV therapy, medication administration, wound care, and urgent procedures
Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Efficient documentation and time-management under pressure
