Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care to support positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire license or eligible for licensure)
• Previous Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills in emergency settings
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to the unpredictable pace of the ED
• Clear background checks and compliance with facility onboarding requirements including orientation

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of ED triage and emergency nursing practices
• Skillful intravenous therapy, medication administration, and emergency procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills under pressure
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation and charting
• Ability to prioritize multiple critically ill patients and manage time effectively
