Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Rapidly assess, triage and prioritize care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, techs and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes promptly
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the facility’s health record system
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment and discharge instructions
• Contribute to a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for practice in New Hampshire
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior experience in Emergency Department/ED/ER nursing strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
• Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency nursing assessments
• IV therapy, medication administration and wound care
• Cardiac monitoring and basic dysrhythmia recognition
• Strong clinical judgment and rapid decision-making
• Clear, concise documentation and handoff communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
