Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Stockton, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts available, with weeknight call starting at 6:30 PM until 6:00 AM the next morning (minimum 2 nights per 4-week schedule) and weekend call every 2nd or 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, supporting life-saving open heart procedures
Collaborate with skilled surgeons and techs across a wide range of specialties including General, Vascular, Ortho, Endo, and Urology
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Monitor patients closely throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort every step of the way
Float within the OR department as needed, bringing your expertise where it matters most

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification preferred
Cerner experience required
No first-time travelers
Previous CVOR experience with ability to work in general OR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiovascular and general surgical procedures
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-acuity OR environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with call requirements and flexible scheduling
