Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM with some charge responsibilities after hours, 10-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in the cardiovascular operating room performing open heart and vascular procedures
Assist anesthesia with induction and ensure smooth patient transitions from pre-op to PACU or inpatient units
Take on charge responsibilities during after-hours periods to support the surgical team
Float to the Main OR when needed, contributing to overall OR efficiency and patient care
Respond to call coverage including weekend emergencies on a rotating schedule

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certification required
CNOR certification preferred
Strong cardiovascular OR experience with open heart procedures highly valued
Ability to scrub and circulate preferred but strong circulating experience accepted
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Open heart and vascular procedures including both open and percutaneous techniques
Hybrid operating suite familiarity beneficial
Strong teamwork and adaptability when floating between CV OR and Main OR
Comfortable with call coverage and occasional weekend emergencies
