Location: Denver, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule determined by leadership for 6-week blocks; weekend rotation (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule) and holiday rotation required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate ICU patient care as the designated charge nurse
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently
Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Respond to codes and rapid responses throughout the hospital
Float across multiple ICU units within Zone 3 (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU) and to step-down/med-surg as needed
Assist with ventilator management and respiratory equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications

At least 2 years of ICU experience required; prior charge nurse experience required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
Comfortable titrating all critical drips and interpreting telemetry
Epic experience preferred; travel experience preferred (3+ years ICU for first-time travelers)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titration of pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin
Proficient in telemetry interpretation and respiratory equipment management
Strong leadership and communication skills for charge nurse role
