Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults with behavioral health needs
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following established protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond to acute changes with clinical judgment and urgency
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; NH licensure or compact state eligibility preferred
• Experience or interest in behavioral health nursing; prior BHS experience is a strong plus
• Current BLS certification required; behavioral health certifications encouraged
• Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shift schedules and participate in required orientation
• Professional communication skills and a collaborative team approach

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Clinical assessment and patient observation in behavioral health settings
