End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; weekend rotation required (4 weekends per 4-week period, nights: Fri-Sat, days: Sat-Sun)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Place patients in appropriate units based on their medical needs using critical thinking and clinical judgment
Utilize TeleTracking and Cerner to manage bed assignments across multiple hospitals (up to 3)
Coordinate with charge nurses and leadership to ensure appropriate bed placement
Work from 3 screens, navigating multiple applications including Google tools and chat platforms
Communicate effectively with ED, leadership, and other departments to optimize patient flow
Ensure no direct patient care is provided; focus solely on bed placement and coordination

Qualifications

Active RN, LVN, or CNA license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (hospital settings preferred, not SNF)
Experience with TeleTracking and Cerner required
Strong computer skills including familiarity with Zoom and Google applications
Excellent multitasking and customer service abilities
Knowledge of different hospital units (MedSurg, Tele, ICU, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of patient placement workflows and bed management
Proficiency in electronic medical records (Cerner) and bed management systems (TeleTracking)
Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise between departments
