Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, potential weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients across telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU units
Assess nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans for low to moderate acuity patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to nutrition interventions and adjust plans accordingly
Educate patients and families on dietary modifications and healthy eating habits

Qualifications

Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dietitian
Acute care hospital experience highly preferred
Registered Dietitian credential required
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
Proficient with Cerner EMR

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical nutrition and medical nutrition therapy knowledge
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Adaptability to cover various units and patient populations
