Shift Type: Noon-Midnight Shift, 36 hours per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers
Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers
Assist with US guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis
Educate patients on prep and post care for radiology procedures
Support radiology nursing with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements
Perform C-Arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR as requested by surgeons
Complete documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, and archiving of exams
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital indicators
Mentor radiography students, new hires, and fellow radiology techs

Qualifications

Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent
Montana Radiologic Technologist licensure
ARRT certification R.T.(R)
American Heart Association BLS certification
At least 1 year of radiology experience, including clinical internship
Competency in fluoroscopic/C-Arm, trauma, and portable radiography within 6 months

Education

Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Sound judgment and patience in a busy environment
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under deadlines
Proficiency with computer applications and office equipment
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times
