Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with self-scheduling and approximately 7-8 call days per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases
Monitor and sedate patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Philips, Siemens) to produce high-quality images
Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to deliver optimal patient care
Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols
Document procedures accurately in the Merge system
Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage for emergent cases

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab
Current ARRT (R) certification
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with cath lab circulating and moderate sedation
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and take call

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cath lab procedures and equipment
Knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiac anatomy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with Merge documentation system preferred
