Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging across all DX areas, including portable radiography, ED trauma imaging, OR/surgical imaging and fluoroscopic procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as GE radiography units, portable GE/Shiatzu units, C-arms (OEC) and O-arms (Medtronic)
• Provide patient-centered care with attention to safety, positioning and radiation protection
• Collaborate with surgeons, ED staff and multidisciplinary teams to support timely, high-quality imaging for procedural and trauma cases
• Document imaging and patient information accurately in Cerner RadNet and maintain clear communication with radiology staff
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, prioritize emergent cases, and maintain a calm, professional presence during high-stress situations

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in diagnostic radiology / DX preferred
• Demonstrated experience with portable radiography, ED trauma imaging and OR/imaging procedures
• Fluoroscopy experience is a strong plus
• Team-player attitude with ability to work independently when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic imaging (DX Radiology) best practices
• Portable radiography techniques and mobile unit operation
• Emergency department trauma imaging workflow and priorities
• Operating room and surgical imaging protocols
• Fluoroscopy procedures and radiation safety
• Familiarity with Cerner RadNet for image and patient documentation
• Experience with C-arm and O-arm systems
