Location: Rolla, Missouri

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Help patients regain mobility through guided stretching and therapeutic exercises
Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement individualized care plans
Communicate with patients and families to recommend effective at-home techniques
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
Assist patients with transfers from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas
Complete administrative tasks including scheduling and documentation

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Prior experience in Long Term Care or Rehabilitation settings
Active Missouri PTA license required
Ability to work with patients of all ages, from newborns to end-of-life

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of physical therapy techniques and modalities
Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Organizational skills for managing patient documentation and scheduling
