Location: Mauston, Wisconsin

Start Date: 06-08-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night Shift: 7 shifts on, 8 shifts off, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Draw blood from inpatient and outpatient settings so tests can be performed and doctors can make diagnoses
Send out pathology, cytology, bone marrow biopsies, and fine needle aspirates
Review and input patient demographics for pathology and print pathology reports
Order tests and prepare them to standards while double-checking physician details
Perform venipuncture blood draws, heel sticks, finger pokes, drug screens, and breathalyzers

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of related work experience preferred
BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire
Valid and current driver's license preferred
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Intermediate proficiency with computers
Comprehensive phlebotomy skills
Knowledge of lab protocols
Self-starter with compassion and excellent interpersonal communication
Strong problem-solving abilities
