Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic activities to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
Document progress accurately and adjust interventions as needed

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Vermont or compact eligibility
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) also encouraged to apply
BLS certification from AHA required
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of OT assessment tools and treatment modalities
Ability to adapt activities for diverse patient needs
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
