Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy to patients with upper extremity conditions including shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Treat a variety of orthopedic diagnoses in an outpatient setting
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and rehab aides to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute cases
Cover acute inpatient, acute rehab, and transitional care as needed

Qualifications

Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license
BLS certification
Experience in outpatient orthopedics with focus on upper extremity therapy
Ability to treat 12 patients per day
Lymphedema training is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic rehabilitation techniques
Upper extremity treatment including hands, elbows, and shoulders
Patient documentation systems (ReDoc, Meditech)
Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise
Acute and outpatient care coordination
