Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for OB patients including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
• Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and unit personnel to promote teamwork and quality care
• Manage supplies and equipment to ensure a safe environment
• Adhere to hospital policies on confidentiality, advance directives, and ADA
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience as an RN
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certifications
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Teaching and patient education skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer proficiency in healthcare systems
