Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with 1 weeknight call and rotating 5th weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac stress studies, HIDA scans, bone scans, and SPECT imaging
Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately while ensuring patient comfort
Collaborate with a close-knit team of three staff members to deliver exceptional diagnostic care
Maintain equipment such as Optima 640, GE Infinia, and Adac Forte scanners
Document procedures thoroughly using Meditech and Fuji Synapse/PACS systems
Respond to call coverage for weeknights and every fifth weekend to support urgent patient needs

Qualifications

Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred
Hospital experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
Flexibility with call schedules and willingness to adjust exam times as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in cardiac, renal, cerebral, HIDA, SPECT, bone scan, shuntogram, gastric clearance, pulmonary, parathyroid, MUGA, and cisternography procedures
Comfort working with ICU, pediatrics, trauma, med-surg, and ER patient populations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
