Roles & Responsibilities

Operate the women's health section of radiology with precision and care
Perform advanced mammography imaging procedures following strict protocols
Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA standards to protect patients
Provide patient education, verify orders, and ensure accurate EHR documentation
Maintain equipment, complete daily QA, and troubleshoot issues independently
Suggest procedure improvements and coordinate training for quality enhancement
Assist in other modalities, clerical duties, and staff cross-training as needed

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M)
Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days
At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
Pass background check, drug screen, and employee health meeting

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

Mammography imaging procedures
Radiation safety and ALARA standards
Patient education and identification protocols
EHR, PACS, and RIS/HIS documentation
Equipment operation and troubleshooting
FDA guidelines and accreditation processes
