Shift Type: 4x10s, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Variable/Flexible

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures with precision and care
Monitor patients in Pre-Op ensuring safety every step of the way
Provide expert Phase II recovery and surgical discharge planning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Manage patient ratios effectively in a fast-paced 13-bed unit
Utilize Meditech for seamless documentation and communication

Qualifications

Active TX RN License required (no temp licenses)
2+ years of hospital or travel experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Pre-op and Phase II Surgical Discharge expertise

Education

RN licensure with relevant nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

PACU experience preferred
Strong IV skills
Meditech documentation proficiency
Pain block procedures with anesthesia knowledge
