Shift Type: AM: 12:00 AM - 12:30 PM (8 hours) or PM: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (8 hours), every other weekend, holidays required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Masterfully perform phlebotomy across inpatient, outpatient, ER, PEDS, NICU, clinics, EC, and all medical floors including nursery
Handle straight needle sticks with precision while reserving butterflies for the toughest draws
Efficiently manage specimen receiving to keep the lab flowing smoothly
Collaborate seamlessly using Cerner LIS and EMR systems

Qualifications

At least 1 year of hospital experience including newborns
CDPH certification
CPT certification

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in straight needle sticks
Hospital phlebotomy in diverse areas like NICU and ER
Specimen receiving proficiency
Comfort with Cerner systems and label printers
