Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret and transcribe medication orders with precision to keep patients safe
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including IVs, chemo, and nutrition products flawlessly
• Monitor drug therapies for interactions, allergies, and optimal dosing to ensure top-tier care
• Review lab data and recommend antibiotic adjustments that make a real difference
• Provide expert clinical consultations and cost-effective alternatives to physicians
• Educate patients, families, and staff while documenting every impactful intervention
• Join the Code Response Team ready to spring into action
• Drive quality improvement through data collection and training programs

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
• EPIC experience required to hit the ground running
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy

Education

• BS Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy

Knowledge & Skills

• EPIC system proficiency for seamless workflow
• Pharmacokinetic dosing and drug interaction expertise
• Controlled substances management and legal compliance
• Antibiotic stewardship through C&S data interpretation
• Patient chart analysis and adverse reaction detection
