Shift Type: Rotating day/night shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate acute psychiatric care to geriatric patients aged 60+
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 2-3 RNs per shift
Manage short-term care in a specialized 10-bed unit
Ensure strong, competent support for vulnerable patients
Handle de-escalation and crisis intervention with confidence

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years acute RN experience
Some psych background preferred
BLS certification required
CPI certification required
Valid CA RN license

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong geriatric psychiatric nursing expertise
Acute care proficiency
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) skills
Competent in high-acuity patient management
