Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time nights, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect care to patients in a safe therapeutic environment
Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Champion patients by helping set meaningful goals based on their strengths and needs
Maintain professional boundaries while building therapeutic relationships
Contribute to a non-judgmental, empowered team that supports one another

Qualifications

Active MA RN License required at submission
One year of inpatient psych experience
CPR Certification
Willingness to float and take charge
BSN preferred

Education

RN license within the State of Massachusetts required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking for decision-making and problem-solving
Advanced knowledge of Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse treatment
Nursing process using Trauma Informed Recovery model
Crisis management, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and intervention
Effective communication, time management, delegating, coaching, and team building
Electronic Medical Record proficiency
Flexibility and calm handling of stressful situations
