Shift Type: Every other weekend, rotating holidays with core staff

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in diverse surgical cases including robotics, urology, ENT, GYN, ortho, podiatry, and plastics
Support the OR team in delivering exceptional patient care
Interpret EKG strips accurately to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with charge nurse and aides during high-volume periods
Maintain sterile environments and equipment for seamless procedures

Qualifications

Active BLS certification required
Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Recent experience in General OR with strong references: 1 within 12 months and 1 within 3 years
No direct employment with CommonSpirit facilities in the past year

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in robotics general and gyn cases
Skilled in urology, ENT, GYN, orthopedic joint and sports med, podiatry, and plastics
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips
Strong teamwork in fast-paced OR settings
